How to get to us
By car
Monheim is located right on the Rhine, in the heart of the Rhine-Ruhr region, between Düsseldorf (20 minutes by car) and Cologne (30 minutes by car). The city is linked to the interstate network via the A3, A59 and A542.
By public transport
Monheim am Rhein can also be easily reached by public transport thanks to its good links to the public transport network. The two S-Bahn stops of Langenfeld (Rhld.) and Langenfeld-Berghausen at the edge of the city connect Monheim am Rhein with the regional transport system. Take a bus from the busy bus station downtown to get to the S-Bahn line 6 that goes to Cologne and Düsseldorf/Essen and to the regional express lines RE1 and RE5 as well as the RRX every 20 minutes. In the city center itself, buses also run every 10 minutes during the day. Use of the buses is free of charge for the city's children and everyone that has a Monheim Pass.
